Data Collection
We only store anonymous usage statistics. No personal data is collected or stored. Geolocation is only used for weather lookup and is not stored on our servers.
Cookies
We use localStorage for theme preference, language selection, and recent cities. No tracking cookies are used.
Third Parties
We use Open-Meteo API for weather data and geocoding. We also query national meteorological services like DMI (Denmark), YR.no (Norway), Met Office (UK), and others. See their respective privacy policies for details.
Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to: (1) Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, (2) Rectification — correct inaccurate data, (3) Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated data, (4) Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format, (5) Object — object to processing of your data. Data Controller
The data controller is Aicuna (operated by GuideTours, Denmark). We process data lawfully under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in providing weather services. Account data is processed under Article 6(1)(b) — contract performance.
Data Retention
Anonymous usage statistics are retained for up to 12 months. Account data (email, hashed password) is retained until you delete your account. Weather cache data is automatically purged after 1 hour. We do not retain geolocation data.
